“Love words, agonize over sentences. And pay attention to the world.”
There are too many people to count whose words, thoughts, and support have made a difference in my life, but I would be remiss if I didn’t try to at least list the major ones who have had a lasting impact on my thinking, lifestyle, and writing. Some of these people are wonderful friends, some I’ve had the pleasure of meeting once or twice, and some I know about only from their work. Regardless, I owe each of them a debt of gratitude.

And thanks to everyone who tries hard to leave the world a little nicer than they found it, whether I’ve encountered your work or not.
Apologies if I inadvertently left you off this list, which I try to keep updated on an annual basis. I’m sure I missed more people than I included, so please do not take it personally if you expected your name to appear here. I’m sure it should, and the error is mine.
