I try to provide a lot of information and value with my writing and speaking engagements so you can start to make the right kinds of changes in your business, but if you’re struggling with the details on how to implement for your own situation, then my coaching program might be a good fit for you.
I spent years learning how to build a successful consultancy by doing all the wrong things. I didn’t start to see really great results until I asked for help and advice from people further down the path. I’d love to help you avoid those mistakes that I made before getting some 1-on-1 help from people a bit more experienced.
I’m picky about who I work with
I’m positive I can help you achieve better results, but you need to also be a good fit for the program. This isn’t for you if:
- You’re not already making at least $60k per year from freelance – Unfortunately, I’m only able to take on a few coaching clients at a time, so the program isn’t cheap. I wouldn’t want you to make this investment if you can’t afford it yet.
- You haven’t already taken some positive steps for your business – If you’re just at the point of realizing you need to start treating your business differently, that’s great! However, you’ll get more mileage out of working with me once you’ve started making some forward progress. Read the articles and guides on this site for ideas on where to get started, and then ping me in a few weeks or months once you have some momentum.
- You’re not able to set aside several hours a week to work on your business – I can help you chart the right path, but I can’t do the work for you. In my experience, you need to set aside time every week (at least) to make forward progress on the implementation of what we’ll discuss. Otherwise the recommendations I make will start to stack up and we’ll both get frustrated.
- You’re not willing to push yourself a bit outside your comfort zone – I’ve been on both sides of the coaching relationship and I want to make sure you feel good about what we’re doing together, but you’ll also only see major growth from this if you are willing to consider things that you haven’t tried before. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll keep getting those results.
How it works
We’ll start with an onboarding questionnaire that helps me understand you and your business better. Honesty and transparency are vital. I can’t help you if I don’t have a full understanding of where you’re at, where you’re trying to go, and what your struggles are.
Twice a month, we’ll have a 60-minute call. We’ll talk strategy and tactics, review your progress towards your goals, and make any adjustments needed.
If you prefer, we can instead do a longer call on a monthly basis, but I recommend the 2 calls / month schedule for most clients.
You’ll also get access to a private Slack channel where we can chat in real-time, and you’ll get priority email access to me for any other issues.
Confidentiality
Obviously, all of the information that you give me in the questionnaire, during our calls and chats, etc. is strictly confidential. No one else sees that info without your explicit permission.
Pricing
The coaching program is $1200 per month, with a six-month initial commitment.
It takes a bit of time for us to develop a productive relationship, and for you to start seeing results.
After the first three months, it’s month-to-month.
Payment is via an automatic subscription via credit card or Paypal.
How to apply
If you’re ready to take your freelancing to the next level, go ahead and fill out the application. I’ll review and get back to you with next steps.
Looking forward to working with you!
